Bagong Pag-asa offers several drop-in support groups for men. All people, regardless of religion, who struggle with homosexuality are welcome. (These meetings are for men with same-sex desires exclusively, we have other meetings for family and friends who want to learn how to help gay men.) It is for those who have acted out sexually as well as for those who simply struggle with their thought life and have never acted out. If you are interested in change, these meetings are for you. In the near future, we hope to have groups for women as well.
We want to be upfront about our position. We are a Christ-centered ministry presenting Jesus as the answer to all of life's difficult problems. We have times of worship and prayer. While you do not have to be a Christian to attend, please be advised that we will be speaking to you about Christ.
These meetings are not a gay social club. We reserve the right to ask any attendee to leave the group if they have come to make contacts and are not seeking change. However, those who want to inquire about change and do not present pro-gay philosophy are welcome.
