The major responsibilities of Board of Directors include:

• To keep the organization's mission and purpose match the ministries activities
• To select and support the Executive Director with encouragement, advice, and accountability
• To review the performance of the Executive Director
• To ensure effective organizational planning
• To ensure adequate resources by raising money for the ministry, finding the people to serve the ministry and building prayer support for the ministry
• To manage resources effectively while leaving the day-to-day management to the leaders
• To monitor the programs of the ministry
• To enhance the organization's public image by representing the organization and advocating for it
• To assess the Board's own performance.
