The major responsibilities of Board of Directors include:
- To keep the organization's mission and purpose match the ministries activities
- To select and support the Executive Director with encouragement, advice, and accountability
- To review the performance of the Executive Director
- To ensure effective organizational planning
- To ensure adequate resources by raising money for the ministry, finding the people to serve the ministry and building prayer support for the ministry
- To manage resources effectively while leaving the day-to-day management to the leaders
- To monitor the programs of the ministry
- To enhance the organization's public image by representing the organization and advocating for it
- To assess the Board's own performance.
